racism and terrorism : twin menaces!

the glasgow bombing in UK has again brought  terrorism on the centrestage of the world politics. there is no denying the fact that it is a most serious problem the world is facing at this point of time.

but again a very small point to ponder in these troubled times is that, one of the fuel, to this terrorism is racism. this thing has been overlooked by most of the observers of the international politics. the detention of dr. haneef mohammed in australia is a glaring example of the racist act followed by the state against individuals of foreign origin who are of different skin colour or of different faiths. this state sponsored racism in the australian milieu is deplorable and open to widespread public unrest throughout the world. everyday a new detail emerges out of that sordid tale of implication of an innocent man . still these shameless people who think themselves morally superior to anybody in this world indulged in these squalid state of affairs to convict an innocent man. the revoking of his visa after being granted bail by a court is shameful act that will belittle, most heinous  acts.

no law is bad until you are misusing it, or you are twisting it to profile someone a convict who is otherwise  innocent. let the truth prevail, let there be light! catch the rouges and leave the innocent in peace.

the act of the state should be honourable and responsible and not clownic in act to distrupt the public peace .

There are lots of factors that are precursors to terrorism/extremism. Again, its a vicious cycle one causing the other. Only an educated and tolerant mass will be able to eliminate this menace.

there are many dimensions to the manace, that we call terrorism. i was only being descreet in the case of dr. haneef mohammad.

but i cannot agree more on the above comment that only educated and tolerant mass can contain this twin menace.
